Wow! Genius Woman Has An Idea To SOLVE the Unofficial List Problem Forever!

Once or maybe twice in a generation, a great genius comes along that has the power to revolutionize an entire industry. Katherine Hermicher just might be that genius. Last week she took to Audition Update to unveil a breathtaking plan to solve the “unofficial list problem” once and for all.

Motivated by her desire to sleep past 5:00am once in a while, Hermicher posted her theory on Audition Update to alert the theater community at large. “Heyy guys…” she began casually, “I’ve been thinking a lot about this whole list thing and how we might make things more fair, equitable and reasonable for everyone here in the non-eq community.”

Using carefully collected data from a study conducted during the 2017 audition season,

Hermicher went on to outline an elaborate 14-point plan would revolutionize the way that actors sign up for auditions. Although the plan is indeed complex, scientists confirmed that the plan does work when run through a lab simulation. However, there is some concern as to whether it could work in a real world setting. According to Gabby Moynihan, a researcher at NYU, “there is really no way to replicate the ‘crazy factor’ in a lab, so we are not completely confident this will work.”

Among the public, Hermicher’s plan has been met with a wide range of reactions from sarcasm and rage to sarcasm and pure, white-hot rage. “This plan is so dumb it made all my hair fall out including my eyebrows” read one response from an anonymous user.

Regardless, Hermicher is optimistic about the future of her plan. “I’m certain that the non-equity community is going to come together as one and embrace this plan any day now” she said. At presstime, Hermicher was tucking herself in for a nice 2.45 hours of sleep before waking up for the Sprigg Lake Open Call in the morning.
