Actor Uses “Character Work” as Clever Ruse to Ask Scene Partners Pervy Questions

Lincoln, NE: Proclaiming that he needed to know “EVERYTHING” about his character’s sexual background, sources confirmed Sunday that Brad Broderson has been using much of rehearsal time to ask the other members of his cast prying questions. “It’s just… how can I play the Tin Man, without knowing if Dorothy is a virgin?”asked Broderson in a phone interview. He continued, “At the Sigmund Freud School of Experimental Bullshit, we were taught that we cannot act from our core/penises without asking the important questions.”
This controversial method seems to be the reason why Broderson reportedly spent 20 minutes of precious rehearsal time pestering director Alison Wilson to tell him if she believes “Glinda swings both ways.” While some members of the cast have met Broderson’s queries with resistance, others applauded his commitment to craft. “I love his questions!” gushed rookie cast member Timmy Alenta. “I am going to ask my friends in All Shook Up all the same questions!” At presstime, Broderson was asking the Wicked Witch of the West if she had “ever done drunken anal.”
