I have scored the role of a lifetime and I can't wait to begin performance...One problem: I don't know what to do with the pies at the end of my wrists. What do you suggest?

Dear Floppy,

Nothing ruins a performance like not knowing what to do with your hands. Fear not, Hackstage has a handy list of tricks to keep the focus onto your face, and away from your fingeys!

1. Cover Your Hands with Shoes

2. Carry a Flag Around the Stage! (Very Patriotic!)

3. Put Your Hands in Your Mouth.

4. Try Holding an Enormous Prop Baby in All Your Scenes.

5. Or a Watermelon as a prop baby......

6. Cling to Your Other Actors (this works especially well if other actors are also struggling with using their hands!)

7. Do NOT Let Go of the Set!
