Five Sad Lunches to Eat After Your Open Call
As a wise man once said, "Food = Love"and Hackstage couldn't agree more! Here are our five most delicious and melancholy post- audition lunches.
1. A Home Made Peanut Butter and Jelly Standing in the Lobby of 520 Eighth Avenue: The newly renovated lobby allows you to eat a wistful lunch, and STAND at the same time!

2. Dollar Pizza from 38th and Eighth: If you think your audition went particularly well, treat yourself to two slices or a soda!

3. Anything from the Convenience store in the Equity Building: Spend some time reflecting on your career goals as you eat in the presence of the Equity actors. (Feeling extra bold? Try bringing your food into the audition center.)

4. Egg Salad on the Subway: For a healthy dose of existential dread and self-loathing, wait to take out your sandwich until you are riding the R train home. Don't worry about spilling on your audition dress!

5. Green Juice in the Holding Room: Why leave the area at all when you can eat on the floor surrounded by mirrors and other actors? Juice is healthy, neat and very mediocre tasting!
