Actor Dissatisfied with Responses to Narcissistic Facebook Post

In an effort to make people say nice things and get attention, actor/yeller/self proclaimed “visionary” Ben James* posted a status Friday night asking the Facebook “hivemind” which actor he looked like.
The responses, while thoughtful and varied, were not quite what Ben James was looking for.“I imagined people would mention James Franco, or Jonathan Groff, or that guy from the Streetcar Named Desire movie.” said James on Wednesday.

But what started as a friendly query quickly turned into a feeding frenzy as James’s Facebook “friends” piled on with one insulting comment after another. The screenshot below was taken before James deleted the post in a fit of rage.
“I regret having to take the post down” stated a surly James, “but people were NOT taking me seriously. This was bullying. There are no two ways around it.” Luckily, the experience will not go to waste, as James is a subscriber to the Strasburg technique. “I will use the sense memory of the disappointment of opening my phone and seeing ‘You look like ET’ in my work.”
