Local Cop Incensed Not to be Cast as Local Cop:

A B-Minus Regional Theater:
Reiterating that he’d been a cop for “Six-Plus years!” Local policeman Lenny Richardson insisted that he was perfect for the role of Cop #1 in The Lincoln County Regional Theater’s production of Dial M For Murder. “Are they really gonna bring in an actor to “act” what I do every day? That guy wouldn’t last a day at my job!”
Admitting that Richardson’s audition was “Impassioned at best and terrifying at worst” a press rep for Lincoln Regional Theater’s stated, “We had to go in a different direction. Usually we do like to hire locals to play some of our smaller parts, however, Richardson scared a lot of people with his monologue from Dexter. We think he is probably harmless, but honestly we’d prefer if he didn’t even come to the show”
Not to be deterred from his budding acting career, Richardson plans to move to New York to “show them.” He recently booked for his first extra gig for the sole reason that he already owned a cop uniform.
