Student Filmmaker Announces Casting For In-Class Exercise

San Francisco, CA - After seeing literally tens of people, and many hours of agonizing Dylan Crosby has chosen a cast for his film school’s in class exercise. He has released the following statement to those who auditioned:
Hello,
Thank you so much for your interest towards my project. I have made my decision and I am sorry about it. Unfortunately, you will not be in my film and I have decided to go in a different direction (it turned out my friend Mike was perfect for the role, so I just changed the character’s gender.) While you audition was good, you weren’t emotional enough for the character.
However, your ability to use just your eyes in a scene was breathtaking and moving, and I so appreciated your willingness to improv that love scene. It gave me a LOT of ideas. If you don’t mind, I will keep your information on file for upcoming auditions (I plan on holding a lot, I really enjoyed the process) or in case you want to grab a drink. Thank you again for your time and your professionalism.
Sincerely,
Dylan Crosby
